本技術專爲沸水式核能發電機組而開發,可共同固化或單獨固化硫酸鈉廢液、粉狀廢樹脂與污泥等濕性廢棄物。將硫酸鈉轉化為安定之硫酸鋇,免除鈣礬石之產生,避免固化體龜裂,而研製特用之固化劑,將轉化副產物NaOH製備成可硬性漿液,再以可硬化漿液包埋固化粉狀廢樹脂。減容因數為水泥固化之2.5~3倍。
本製程主要包括廢液超濃縮與固化兩個步驟,當廢液超濃縮備料完成後,30分鐘即可完成一桶55加侖桶固化的操作。可硬化漿液凝固時間僅需一小時,且反應放熱少。經養生24小時即能獲得70%以上的強度。將成份調整後之硼酸溶液製備成過飽和溶液,使硼酸鹽形成高聚合硼酸鹽溶液。再使其直接與高效率固化劑混合後固化,或添加造粒劑完成造粒後,以高效率固化劑拌合後固化,產生之固化產物容積僅為傳統水泥固化法的1/6 。
本製程提供廢樹脂的減容與安定化之完整解決方案,以雙氧水將廢樹脂的有機組份濕式氧化變為CO2與H2O,在不排放任何有毒廢氣及產生二次廢棄物的情況下,達到減容目的。所得之濕式氧化殘渣為無機硫酸鹽,利用高效率固化技術固化,產生之固化產物容積僅為直接水泥固化法產生者的1/6至1/10,整個製程均在低溫與常壓之液相進行,操作安全。
